She sat Charlie down in the kitchen. While wiping his tears, she asked what had happened. 

Charlie, tears still leaking, slowly told the woman everything - about Miss Watkins (Who had said he could be anything he wanted to be.), about him wanting to be a girl, trading clothes with his best friend Jennifer, and finally, about the nuns. 

As his story unfolded, his tears came faster and faster until he was once again sobbing uncontrollably, crying out, "All I want to do is be a girl!"
